You will focus on diagnosing, treating, and preventing mental illnesses and emotional disorders. You will evaluate patients' mental and physical well-being, create personalized treatment plans, and prescribe medication as needed. This role plays a crucial part in supporting patients' needs and promoting improved mental health outcomes. Attend and participate in clinical staff meetings and consultations.Ensure a patient-centered approach by fostering a supportive and empathetic therapeutic environment. Requirements:Master's or Doctorate degree in Psychiatric Nursing from an accredited college or university; active and unrestricted State of Wisconsin License to practice medicine.Must meet Mental Health Professional Qualifications in the State of WIMust have a mental health certification (PMHNP) recognized by the board of nursing.Minimum 1-2+ years' experience practicing as an APNP is required.Knowledge of regulatory standards governing care delivery and operations.Proficient in the use of computers including Microsoft Office products and experience with Electronic Health Records.
