Denver Health is seeking a motivated Adult Psychiatry Fellow APP for a 12-month post-graduate fellowship starting in July 2026. This intensive program offers comprehensive clinical and didactic training to develop expertise in the care of patients with psychiatric and substance use disorders. Fellows will gain valuable experience across diverse behavioral health settings within an integrated, academic health care system.

Practice Info

•Behavioral Health Services (BHS) is a large and rapidly expanding department with over 700 employees.

•Provides psychiatric care in community, emergency, inpatient, justice, medical, mobile, and outpatient settings.

•All physicians at Denver Health have an academic appointment at the University of Colorado School of Medicine.

•Fellows will rotate through Inpatient psychiatry (Adult and Child/Adolescent Inpatient, Psych Consultation-Liaison, Addiction C-L services), Psychiatric Emergency Services, Corrections, and Outpatient Behavioral Health.

•The program includes weekly seminars, case conferences, faculty meetings, grand rounds, and journal club meetings.

•One half-day per week dedicated to developing an academic project related to advocacy, community engagement, quality improvement, or scholarly work.
