University of Maryland Upper Chesapeake Health (UMUCH), a member of the University of Maryland Medical System (UMMS), has an opening available for a part-time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).
Job Specifics: Position will be primarily based in the brand-new, state-of-the-art, free-standing facility in Aberdeen, MD. Under the direction of the Medical Director of Behavioral Health Services, the Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner will assist attending Behavioral Health physicians in all aspects of psychiatric care. All work will be performed in close collaboration with attending physicians responsible for the patient. Psychiatric services provided in a variety of settings, including Inpatient, Psychiatric Day Treatment, Intensive Outpatient, Outpatient, as well as an Urgent Care Walk-In setting Monday through Friday work schedule. Ideal work environment with a very manageable, compensated call rotation shared among five providers, fostering a healthy work/life balance Excellent opportunity to work within a vast behavioral health continuum. Ideal candidate will have at least two years of patient care experience as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.

Qualifications
Master of Science with completion of a PMH Nurse Practitioner program. Hold an unrestricted license in the state of practice.
