TrueMynd Psychiatry is seeking a Pennsylvania-licensed, Board-Certified PMHNP (PMHNP-BC / NP-P / CRNP) to join our growing, NP-led psychiatric private practice as a 1099 independent contractor.
This role is ideal for a clinician seeking autonomy, strong reimbursement, mentorship, and a sustainable private practice experience—without corporate oversight.
Position Overview
•1099 Independent Contractor
•Fee-for-service compensation
•70/30 split (provider-favorable)
•Estimated earnings: $91–$160/hour, based on appointment type
•Primarily telehealth
•Office use is not provided; however, clinicians with their own office or those wishing to discuss office utilization or reimbursement options are welcome to have those conversations
•Flexible scheduling with opportunity to build a consistent caseload
Practice Infrastructure (Provided)
•Fully integrated EHR and telehealth platforms
•Credentialing and payer enrollment included
•Participation with major PPO commercial plans, providing access to approximately 70% of PA regions
•Administrative and operational systems already in place
•You focus on patient care — the infrastructure is handled
Clinical Leadership, Collaboration & Mentorship
TrueMynd Psychiatry is an NP-owned and NP-led private practice.
You will receive collaborative support and mentorship directly from the owner, who brings:
•Over 10 years of hands-on experience in psychiatry and addiction medicine
•Over 5 years of experience successfully running and operating private practices
•Background in both clinical care and executive leadership
•A strong emphasis on ethical practice, professional development, and long-term sustainability
This is a collaborative environment—not a volume-driven or corporate model.
Pennsylvania Regulatory & Contractor Requirements
This is a 1099 position, and clinicians must meet all Pennsylvania regulatory requirements independently, including:
•Active Pennsylvania PMHNP license (CRNP / NP-P)
•Board Certification ANCC (PMHNP-BC)
•DEA registration (PA-registered)
•Independent professional malpractice insurance meeting PA standards
•Independent PA-compliant collaborative agreement(s) in place prior to start
(Contractor is responsible for securing and maintaining collaborators as required under PA law)
•Ability to practice within PA scope, prescribing, and telemedicine regulations
•Comfort providing telepsychiatry services
•Strong clinical judgment and commitment to ethical, patient-centered care
•Compensation and collaboration structure may be discussed further during the interview process, depending on experience and clinical focus.
