About the Position

We are seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner for a 20-day locum tenens assignment in Connecticut, starting May 4, 2026. This role offers weekday, 8-hour day shifts and involves working across child, adolescent, and adult outpatient and inpatient settings. The ideal candidate will be comfortable providing care in a variety of environments and patient age groups.

•Provider Type Needed: Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

•Schedule: May 4-May 15, 2026, and Jun 1-Jun 12, 2026; Monday - Friday, 8-hour day shifts

Responsibilities and Duties

•Provide psychiatric care to child, adolescent, and adult patients in outpatient and inpatient settings

•Adapt to the needs of various clinical environments, including outpatient clinics and inpatient units

•Conduct psychiatric assessments, develop treatment plans, and prescribe medication as appropriate

•Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive mental health care

•Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with clinic policies

Additional Information

•Active Connecticut nurse practitioner license required

•Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (Across the Lifespan) Certification (PMHNP-BC) required

•Experience working with child/adolescent outpatient populations preferred
