ABOUT OUR GROUP: We are an Outpatient Psychiatry Practice in the Sacramento, CA area. Started about 9 years ago with the objective of providing excellent mental health to a wide variety of populations in the Sacramento County area. We are a multi-level group with Psychiatrists, medications management providers and therapists working collaboratively. Most patients have disorders in the mood, psychotic and anxiety areas. We strive for a stress-free, friendly work place. Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant: We are seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team in Folsom, CA. You will work alongside our mutli-level team of therapists / medications management providers and focus on medication management. All of our providers use electronic medical records, and have the opportunity to practice psychotherapy if desired. This is an immediate opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to work in a Psychiatry position in a community clinic. Psychiatrist oversight and backup are provided. There is a Psychotherapist available for referrals. The staff is all very friendly and it is a supportive working environment. The Psych NP or Psych PA will also have the opportunity to provide input into the structure of their clinical practice if they desire. Experience working with antidepressant, antianxiety, and antipsychotic medications is preferred. However, if you have no experience we will train you in Psychiatry. You must be a California licensed prescriber to apply. Pay is commensurate with experience. Compensation: $145,000 - $168,000 per year.
