NP/PA- Inpatient Psychiatry- Neenah, WI- PRN

ThedaCare, Wisconsin's largest non-profit healthcare system, is seeking an experienced Inpatient Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our established Inpatient Psychiatry team at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center- Neenah, in Neenah, Wisconsin.

Under the general direction of the collaborating physician, the Nurse Practitioner provides general inpatient services to patients with psychiatric illnesses.

7 on 7 off (7a-7p)

Call-inpatient psychiatrists split weekend call (1-2 times per month)

Updated 19-bed unit

Support staff: 2 Physicians, 2 APCs, RN's, and Behavioral Health Techs

The Psychiatric group is part of a behavioral health division that includes seven adult psychiatrists, five nurse practitioners, four adult psychiatric hospitalists, and 50 Mental Health/Substance Abuse Counselors, as well as Psychology, Neuropsychology services, ECT, and a Mental Health Day Treatment Program.

Position Requirements:

Graduated from an NLN-accredited Master’s Program in Nursing with a focus in Mental Health Psychiatry, a plus

Current RN License to practice in the State of Wisconsin and certification as an APNP/Advanced Practice Nurse Prescriber

Must be board-certified as a Psychiatry Nurse Practitioner. Current certification by the ANCC/as an APRN-PMH /Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in Psychiatric Mental Health is a plus
