Nurse Practitioner - Behavioral Health Clinic

Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans.

Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care to patients with co-occurring mental and physical health conditions.

Monitor and evaluate patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.

Prescribe and manage medications for patients with mental health disorders, in accordance with state regulations and clinic policies.

Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding their mental health conditions and treatment options.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including progress notes, treatment plans, and medication management.

Attend regular team meetings and case conferences to discuss patient care and treatment plans.

Act as a resource and consultant for other healthcare professionals on mental health issues and best practices.

Stay up-to-date on current research and evidence-based practices in the field of mental health.

Adhere to ethical and legal standards of practice, including patient confidentiality and informed consent.

Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure the delivery of high-quality and effective care to patients.

Foster a supportive and compassionate environment for patients, families, and colleagues.

Continuously demonstrate a commitment to professional growth and development through ongoing education and training opportunities.
