We are seeking a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP) to support our growing group practice in Sarasota, Florida, on a part-time schedule (3 days per week).

•Schedule: part-time, 3 days per week, Monday through Friday

•Provide patient care in a skilled nursing facility by conducting rounds in short-term units

•Complete documentation remotely using a provided iPad or laptop within 48 hours of patient visits

Key Responsibilities

•Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments

•Collaborate with facility staff to enhance patient care

•Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with mental health disorders

•Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications

•Ensure timely, accurate, and compliant documentation

Requirements

•Valid, unrestricted PMHNP license

•Active Florida license

•Active DEA

•Minimum 1 year of PMHNP experience

•Local candidates only

•Experience in healthcare or long-term care is preferred but not required

Compensation is fee for service (FFS). Expected compensation is estimated range of $82,597 to $99,116 annually with no cap on productivity income potential.
