Full-time NURSE PRACTITIONER (NPs) needed.
In our outpatient clinic, you will be the Nurse Practitioner in charge of providing patients of all ages with comprehensive primary healthcare services. As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will collaborate to manage acute and chronic health issues, encourage health maintenance, and deliver patient-centered care.
Schedule: Full Time
Analyze and interpret patients’ history, symptoms, physical findings, or diagnostic information to develop appropriate diagnoses.
Develop treatment plans based on scientific rationale, standards of care, and professional practice guidelines.
Diagnose or treat acute health care problems such as illnesses, infections, and injuries.

Prescribe medications based on efficacy, safety, and cost as legally authorized.
Recommend interventions to modify behavior associated with health risks.
Educate patients about self-management of acute or chronic illnesses, tailoring instructions to patients’ individual circumstances.
Evaluation of an employee’s medical or psychological condition is already in question.
Understand Electronic Health Record, utilize it to its fullest capabilities, and have the record complete within policy regulations.
Prescribe medication dosage, routes, and frequencies based on patients’ characteristics.
Order, perform, or interpret the results of diagnostic test as complete blood counts (CBC’s), electrocardiograms (EKG’s), and radiographs ( x-rays).
Current certificate as a Nurse Practitioner issued by the NYSED
Holds, or obtains through facility orientation, a valid and current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA).
A valid New York State license and current registration to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse issued by the New York State Department of Education (NYSED)
