Full-time positions available! We are currently looking to add certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioners at our Outpatient Program located at Berkshire Psychiatric & Behavioral Health Services. M-F scheduled, no weekends!
Founded in 1994, Berkshire Psychiatric & Behavioral Health Services, P.C. is a clinically integrated association of experienced, compassionate mental and behavioral health professionals working collaboratively to provide a comprehensive network of psychiatric and psychological services. Berkshire Psychiatric & Behavioral Health Services is now proud to be part of the Haven Behavioral Healthcare system of services. Haven operates acute-care psychiatric hospitals and outpatient practices across the United States that offer a full continuum of care for anyone dealing with mental health and substance abuse issues, from young adults to seniors.
At Berkshire Psychiatric & Behavioral Health Services, we work with children, adolescents, adults and seniors. Our services include consultation, evaluation, testing, counseling and medication management in a convenient out-patient setting. These services include treatment for a wide range of mental and behavioral health diagnoses, addictions, marital and family issues and symptoms prompted by stress and/or life transitions. Our mission is to treat every patient with the compassion and respect that we would treat our own families and to provide the kind of behavioral healthcare that patients recommend to their families and friends and referring physicians prefer for their patients.
As a Nurse Practitioner in our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) you will have a collaborative agreement with the Medical Director and work closely to ensure that the psychiatric and medical services provided to our patients are consistently adherent to the standards of the company/agency and applicable regulatory entities.
EDUCATION: Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited program, Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) required. Child/Adolescent Psychiatric-Mental Health Clinical Nurse Specialist Certification (PMHCNS-BC)
EXPERIENCE: At least three (3) to five (5) years experience working as an Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) with mental health population, outpatient preferred.
