Banyan Treatment Centers is expanding its services to Greater Tampa, FL, and is seeking dedicated Nurse Practitioners (PMHNP or FNP) to join their medical team at a new facility in Seminole, FL. This role involves providing integrated care to individuals recovering from substance use and mental health disorders, ensuring high standards of patient care and regulatory compliance. The Nurse Practitioner will play a crucial role in supporting life-changing outcomes for patients overcoming addiction and mental health adversities.

•Provide integrated care to individuals recovering from substance use and mental health disorders
Responsibilities
•Conduct thorough assessments of patients, including history, physical exams, and psychiatric evaluations.
•Collaborate with medical staff to ensure integrated care that addresses both medical and psychiatric needs.
•Document patient progress and make adjustments to treatment plans based on established policies and guidelines.
•Provide primary care services and medical treatment, addressing both general health and addiction-related needs.
•Supervise and instruct patients in self-administered medications, including injections, while offering health education.
•Review lab results and provide treatment or make necessary referrals to specialists.
•Manage therapies (pharmacotherapy and other treatments) per protocols approved by the Medical Director.
•Diagnose and treat behavioral problems, offering recommendations for further care and intervention.

Shift & Schedule
•Part-time, 16- 24 hours per week

Requirements
•Active license to practice as an ARNP in Florida.
•Master's degree in Nursing with clinical training in a healthcare specialty area (from an accredited nursing school).
•Minimum of 1 year experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).
