Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner – Norwich, ConnecticutClinical Role:Permanent job opening at a community health center (in operation for over 100 years).Seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).Responsibilities:Conduct psychiatric evaluations, including ordering, performing, and interpreting diagnostic tests.Perform routine follow-up visits for medication monitoring.Provide emergency consultations, evaluations, or follow-up care as needed.Deliver treatment in accordance with agency standards, protocols, and policies.Manage complex or referred patient cases.Document assessments, treatment recommendations, and care plans.Collaborate with physicians, clinicians, support staff, and community resources.Provide health promotion, education, and counseling to patients and families.Maintain accurate and timely medical records.Requirements:Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) licensed in Connecticut.PMHNP certification required.Master of Science in Nursing.2 years of ambulatory care experience preferred.CPR/First Aid certification.Compensation & Benefits:Competitive salary.Flexible hybrid schedules.Generous paid time off:3 weeks vacation5 floating holidaysPaid company holidays10 sick days/yearMedical, dental, and vision insurance.401(k) with 6% employer contribution.Paid life and disability insurance.Eligible for NHSC Loan Repayment and Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program.RecruitWell’s Core Values:Open communicationSense of urgencyTeamworkAccountabilityDriven to winHigher consciousness
