Southcentral Foundation (SCF) is seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner Specialty to deliver direct clinical care to customer-owners. This role primarily involves patient care at the Covenant House clinic, which operates three days a week. Opportunities for full-time employment are available through additional hours via Primary Care Team Coverage or by supporting other SCF clinics. Join SCF in their mission to achieve wellness through health and related services for the Native Community.
•Opportunities for coverage at other clinics including Brother Francis, Elders Clinic, or Centennial Clinic.
•Serves a primary population of Alaska Native people affiliated with Cook Inlet Region, Inc. (CIRI) and Alaska Native and American Indian people within SCF's geographical service area.
Responsibilities
•Provide direct clinical customer care to customer-owners in the assigned area.
•Provide direct patient care at the Covenant House clinic.
Compensation
•Hiring Range $62.20 to $85.00
•Pay Range $62.20 to $96.40
•Sign-on bonus
•Relocation assistance
Shift & Schedule
•Regular Part Time or Full Time available
•Primary clinic (Covenant House) is open 3 days per week
Requirements
•Licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in the State of Alaska.
•Current certification by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) or American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
•Ability to meet all requirements in order to obtain associate medical staff membership and required privileges of service.
•Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
•ACLS, NRP, ATLS, ALSO and PALS as required for specialty and any certification relating to the scope of practice as required.
•Experience working with adolescents (Ages 13-17) and experience working within behavioral health is encouraged for Covenant House.
