Nurse Practitioner/BC in Psych Mental Health

This Board Certified Mental Health Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for working alongside the Concern Employee Assistance Program Medical Director to provide psychiatric evaluation and medication management for employees of Atlantic Health.

Principal Accountabilities:

1. Provides psychiatric evaluation and medication management

3. Provides after-care/ongoing care information and resources to patients and their families.

4. Ensures patient records are maintained including test results, immunizations, condition changes.

5. Delivers quality, physician-level care while complying with company policies, safety regulations, and productivity metrics.

6. Recommends further treatment options or future appointments if required.

7. Provides medications.

8. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required:

1. Master's degree in Nursing or related area.

2. Current state Nurse Practitioner license. PMHNP-BC - Licensure

Preferred:

1. 5 or more years experience in Nursing or relevant area.

At Atlantic Behavioral Health, we know behavioral health plays a significant role in the healing process - not just for patients dealing with mental health disorders or substance abuse, but also for those recovering from injuries, surgeries, diseases, and other conditions. We help them cope with the stress and emotional challenges caused by such physical ailments.
