About the position
The School of Nursing at the University of Kansas Medical Center seeks a nurse faculty (clinical or research track) to support the Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) in the DNP nursing program. This full-time (12-month appointment), faculty position reports to the Chair, Department of Acute, Chronic, and Continuing Care. Appointment, rank and salary are commensurate with experience. The faculty member will be expected to fulfill the tripartite mission of the School of Nursing: teach, participate in service-related activities that support the school, and engage in clinical scholarship. In addition, as an advanced practice nurse educator, the faculty member is encouraged to maintain a clinical practice.
