Part-Time Psychiatric Services Provider – Raleigh, NC
Wake County is seeking a licensed Psychiatrist (MD), Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP/MHNP), or Mental Health Professional Associate (MHPA) to provide outpatient psychiatric services for individuals enrolled in Permanent Housing & Supportive Services programs.
This role supports adults experiencing homelessness, severe mental illness, co-occurring substance use disorders, HIV/AIDS, and other chronic or disabling health conditions.
Responsibilities
•Conduct outpatient psychiatric evaluations
•Provide medication management and prescribing
•Assess risk of harm to self or others
•Refer clients to appropriate community-based services
•Provide consultation to program staff regarding medication and treatment concerns
•Participate in care team meetings as needed
•Submit treatment documentation within 5 business days of appointments
You will serve approximately 60+ clients with an average commitment of up to 15 hours per week.
