Opioid Treatment Program Advanced Practice Provider (APP) - Raleigh, NC

As our Advanced Practice Provider (APP), under physician supervision, you will provide medical and clinical services to SouthLight and community clients. The APP will also provide coverage for the SouthLight Mobile dosing clinic, which will require driving to the host site once per week to complete physical exams. The APP will collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to ensure clients are receiving safe, holistic, evidence-based, outcome-driven, quality care in a compassionate, therapeutic environment.
Monday - Friday, 7a-3p.

Job Responsibilities of a Opioid Treatment Program Advanced Practice Provider (APP)
Provide addiction medicine and psychiatric assessments along with medication management services under the supervision of the internal SouthLight Healthcare OTP Medical Director or supervising psychiatrist.
Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to identify and assess patient's clinical problems and health care needs

Discuss cases with physician and other health professionals to prepare comprehensive patient care plan
May refer patients to other healthcare providers for consultation or to specialized health resources for treatment
Participate in quality improvement and supervisory meetings with primary supervising physician, practice manager and other medical providers as needed
Provide as needed clinical supervision of support staff during clinic hours.
Qualifications of an Opioid Treatment Program Advanced Practice Provider (APP)
Minimum 1 year of experience as an APP in a behavioral health and/or addiction medicine setting or equivalent experience.
Experience with prescribing psychiatric treatment medication; PMHNP or National PA/NP certification (Master's Degree).
Current unrestricted DEA registration.
General computer skills and ability to use EHR
Analytical thinking in a medical setting
