Manage medications for patients, including those with substance use disorders. • Deliver high-quality inpatient and/or outpatient psychiatric care. • Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to ensure exceptional patient outcomes. • Maintain accurate and compliant documentation standards. RequirementsRequirements Current licensure as a Physician Assistant (PA) with psychiatric experience or a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) in the state you are applying to. Board Certification as a PA or PMHNP. Must have DEA or have the ability and current qualifications to obtain it. Prior experience preferred in providing mental health counseling services within a clinical setting. Must possess a State License to practice and it must be in good standing. Must possess the knowledge base in health promotion maintenance, advanced pathophysiology, advanced health assessment and pharmacology. RRPA requires a detailed background check and drug screen for employment.
