Schedule: This is an in-person position, 8 hours per week, 0.2 FTE
Wage Range: $31,644.06 – $39,900.00 salary, exempt

The Adult Psychiatric Provider is responsible for providing psychiatric evaluations, medication management prescriptive services, mental health assessments, referrals for clients for mental health care and mental health education, and coordination of services with other prescribers at NARA. Manage Psychiatric conditions while coordinating care across interdisciplinary teams to provide whole person trauma - informed care tailored to underserved populations. The provider will take part in addressing co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders through behavioral health screenings, integrated care planning, and appropriate consultation and referrals. Provide integrated low barrier HCV, HIV, SUD, and SMI treatments in communities that are at increased risk of HCV.

To support NARA NW in its mission, all employees agree to refrain from illicit drug use, marijuana use, and prescription drug abuse, both on and off the job. In addition, all employees agree to model alcohol sobriety. Modeling alcohol sobriety means not consuming, discussing, or promoting the use of alcohol, on the job, on social media and when in the community where the employee would be likely to be seen by NARA NW clients or community. If in recovery, employees must have been sober/clean for a length of time sufficient to demonstrate that they will be able to remain sober.
