Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our co-occurring team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive mental health/co-occurring care to adults, focusing on psychiatric diagnosis, medication management, and addiction medicine/OTP services.

Duties

- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments

- Provide MAT services-medication assisted treatment services within a growing opioid treatment program.

- Prescribe and manage medications

- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals

- Educate patients and families on mental health issues/addiction issues

- Maintain accurate patient records

Qualifications

- Valid Nurse Practitioner license

- Certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)

- Experience in psychiatric care, including patient assessment and medication administration

Two to three morning shifts available. The ideal candidate would have previous experience in this area and possess DEA and NJ CDS registration.

-Experience with MAT

- Strong understanding of infection control practices

- Ability to perform patient assessments and utilize evidence-based practices

- Familiarity with electronic health record systems

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
