Work with attending psychiatrists in caring for inpatients and perform psychiatric assessments and provide ongoing care Provide individual therapy and/or medication management as needed for patients under their care Complete all documentation requirements legibly and within appropriate timeframes Maintains patient confidentiality and complies with all HIPAA standards.Qualifications of the Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner: Two years of psychiatric inpatient clinical experience required Must be licensed as a PMHNP Must be licensed as an NP in West Virginia or show proof of application DEA required Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red CrossCompensation and Schedule: Annual salary starts around $120K but can be considerably more based on years of experience Monday - Friday schedule (8A - 5P) with some (paid) call
