Psychiatric/Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)

The Psychiatric/Mental Health Nurse Practitioner performs comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, medication management, evaluation, and on-going treatment of clients with mental health conditions. This role practices independently under California NP regulations (103/104 status) and does not require supervision by a psychiatrist. The PMHNP ensures that all medical services comply with applicable legal, regulatory, and professional standards while supporting the agency’s clinical and operational goals.
This is a full‑time, in‑person position. The PMHNP provides services at Western Youth Services clinic locations and may travel between sites based on operational needs, client coverage, or staffing requirements.
