Salary: $135,000 – $165,000 annually (based on experience and autonomy status)

Neuropsychiatric & Counseling Associates is a growing outpatient psychiatric practice committed to providing thoughtful, patient-centered mental health care. We are seeking a fully licensed PMHNP who values collaborative care, clinical autonomy, and the ability to practice psychiatry in a supportive environment without excessive productivity pressure.

Our practice prioritizes quality patient care over volume, with structured scheduling and built-in administrative time to support sustainable practice.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and diagnostic assessments
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Provide medication management and monitor treatment response
• Collaborate with therapists and other providers to ensure coordinated care
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as clinically appropriate
• Provide telehealth services when appropriate to improve patient access
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation within the electronic health record
• Educate patients and families about mental health conditions and treatment options

Qualifications

• Active Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) license
• Controlled prescriptive authority in Virginia
• Strong knowledge of psychopharmacology and evidence-based psychiatric care
• Experience in outpatient psychiatry preferred
• Comfort working with diverse patient populations
