Position Overview
Middle Path Wellness Collective is seeking a compassionate and skilled Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our thriving private practice. The PMHNP will provide comprehensive psychiatric care to clients across the lifespan, including diagnostic evaluations, medication management, and collaboration with therapists and other healthcare providers. The ideal candidate is professional, flexible, and committed to delivering client-centered, evidence-based care in an outpatient setting.
Key Responsibilities
● Conduct initial psychiatric evaluations and formulate DSM-5 diagnoses.
● Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications, with ongoing monitoring for effectiveness and side effects.
● Provide psychoeducation to clients and families regarding mental health conditions, treatment options, and medication adherence.
● Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation in accordance with insurance, legal, and ethical standards.
● Collaborate with therapists, primary care providers, and other members of the client’s care team.

● Participate in treatment planning and case consultations to ensure coordinated and holistic care.
● Respond to urgent/emergent clinical situations as appropriate within the outpatient scope.
● Stay current with psychiatric research, best practices, and continuing education requirements.
Qualifications
● Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nursing with Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner certification (PMHNP).
● Current and unrestricted state licensure as an APRN/NP with prescriptive authority.
● DEA registration (or eligibility).
● Minimum of 1–2 years of psychiatric experience preferred (outpatient practice experience highly valued).
● Strong knowledge of psychopharmacology and evidence-based treatment approaches.
● Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
● Commitment to ethical, client-centered care and collaborative practice.
