Ally Psychiatry is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our inpatient team in Cullman, AL

. This full-time position focuses on the treatment of adult and geriatric psychiatric patients in a collaborative and well-supported hospital setting.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working with acute psychiatric populations and enjoys working as part of a multidisciplinary care team that values clinical excellence and patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

•Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and medication management

•Deliver evidence-based inpatient psychiatric care for adult and geriatric populations

•Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers to optimize patient outcomes

•Participate in call rotation (1 weeknight per week, 1 weekend per month

)

Requirements

Qualifications

•Active PMHNP certification

•Licensed or eligible for licensure in Alabama

•Inpatient psychiatric experience preferred (adult and/or geriatric)

•Strong communication, assessment, and teamwork skills
