Job Title: Psychiatric & Neurologic Supervision and Collaboration Services for NPs and PAs

Location: Georgia, Louisiana, and Virgin Islands

Position Type: Telemed/Onsite

Availability: Hours TBD

Supervising/Collaborating Physician looking for NPs and PAs who are in need of collaboration services.

Essential Job Functions:Collaborating Physician

•The Physician shall provide supervision for the management of psychiatric disorders, as well as provide consultation and/or referral resource information for complex psychiatric issues.

•Methods of supervision and consultation include, but are not limited to, case presentation and review, monthly patient record reviews, diagnostic classification review, psychopharmacological agent category review, written performance evaluations, and direct observation.

•The Physician shall review and may sign, the psychiatric evaluations and recommendations written by the NP/PA.

•The Physician will review and sign all patients’ records who receive controlled substance prescriptions and, all routine labs ordered by the NP/PA if needed.

•The Physician shall review appropriateness of the formulary annually.

•The Physician shall be available to his/her supervisee directly by telephone, text, and/or email.

•The Physician shall be a member of Company’s Ethics Committee.
