Key Responsibilities
•Conduct psychiatric evaluations and mental health assessments for residents
•Diagnose and treat mental health disorders such as depression, anxiety, dementia, and psychosis
•Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication management and psychotherapy
•Monitor treatment effectiveness and adjust plans as needed
•Collaborate with facility staff, physicians, social workers, and families to ensure coordinated care
•Provide crisis intervention and behavioral management strategies
•Educate staff and caregivers on mental health conditions and interventions
•Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with HIPAA and facility policies
Qualifications
•Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing with a psychiatric/mental health specialization
•Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner and board certification as a PMHNP
•DEA registration for prescribing controlled substances
•Experience in geriatric psychiatry or long-term care preferred

Pay: $147,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
