Psychiatric NP/PA: Outpatient Opportunity in Norwalk, Connecticut (50 miles from New York City)

Norwalk Hospital, part of Nuvance Health, formerly known as Western Connecticut Health, is seeking a part-time outpatient Psychiatric NP/PA in Norwalk, Connecticut. Norwalk is located in suburban Fairfield County about 50 miles northeast of New York City along the shore of the Long Island Sound and nearby to Westchester County in New York. Our outpatient work is a hybrid model conducted by tele-health and in-person. Our long established practice has seven psychiatrists and two nurse practitioners with opportunities for teaching psychiatry residents and medical students. We have a highly collegial and supportive working environment.

The ideal candidate will be a board certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with previous behavioral health experience and/ or training in a multi-disciplinary setting. Spanish speaking a plus. This is an employed position with a highly competitive compensation package, including allowances for CMEs and Dues expenses.

Norwalk Hospital has 366 beds and is also a Level II Trauma Center with approximately 50,000 ED visits per year. As a teaching hospital, we are associated with the University of Vermont College of Medicine, Yale University School of Medicine, Ross University School of Medicine and the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine. Our Medical Group includes 1000+ physicians and advanced practice providers, serving a geographically broad region throughout Western Connecticut and eastern New York.
