UVA Medical Associates of Louisa is seeking an Autonomous Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner for their practice in Louisa, VA. This full-time role requires 2-3 years of experience and involves providing advanced practice services, including patient assessment and management across various clinical settings. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with an interprofessional team to facilitate comprehensive patient care and management.

Practice Info

•Practice located in Louisa, VA

•Outpatient only setting

•Works in conjunction with the medical director, administrative management, nursing, and other interprofessional team members

•Manages patients in accordance with established UVA Medical Center and UVA UPG policies and procedures

Responsibilities

•Provide Advanced Practice Provider services, including assessment and management of patients across all clinical settings.

•Exercise independent judgment in the assessment, diagnosis, and initiation of medical processes and procedures.

•Perform and document comprehensive health histories and physical assessments.

•Formulate diagnoses, identify problems, and perform, order, and interpret diagnostic studies.

•Perform procedures and order medications, treatments, and therapies in accordance with Virginia Prescriptive regulations and credentialing.
