Generations Family Health Center, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join its Behavioral Health Department in Willimantic, CT. This role involves providing comprehensive psychiatric services, including routine and crisis adult and pediatric care. The PMHNP will be responsible for evaluation, diagnosis, medication management, patient education, and treatment planning, ensuring coordinated care for all patients.

•Regional community health center covering a thirty-seven town rural region in eastern Connecticut
•Sites located in Willimantic, Danielson, Norwich and Putnam
•Provides a full range of primary care services to all ages including medical, dental and behavioral health care, as well as care coordination and community outreach
•Offers mobile programs and School Based Health Centers
•Located in the Behavioral Health Department in Willimantic, CT
•Clinical services provided shall include routine and crisis adult and pediatric care
Responsibilities
•Provide coordinated psychiatric services to patients utilizing the clinical services of Generations Family Health Center
•Provide routine and crisis adult and pediatric care as assigned
•Conduct evaluation, diagnosis, medication assessments and adjustment
•Provide patient education
•Perform treatment planning
•Be knowledgeable about agency and clinical policies
•Keep all patient information confidential
•Assume responsibility for the development and realization of an individual ongoing care plan for all patients
Compensation
•Salary Scale Starting: $143,000+ (compensatory salary based on experience)
•Bilingual Stipend for Spanish or Haitian Creole fluency (upon passing proficiency assessment)

Shift & Schedule
•Primarily day-time schedule, some evenings (8 hour shifts, Monday-Friday) / one Saturday per month (4 hour shift, stipend)
Requirements
•M.S. degree from an accredited school of nursing
•Nationally recognized certification in area of psychiatry specialty
•Board certification required
•Current licensure in State of Connecticut or ability to obtain licensure
•Valid Federal and State Controlled Substance License
•Experience with Substance Use Treatment is preferred
•Bilingual candidate (Spanish/English) preferred based on patient population
