We are thriving collaborative group practice in the Mid-Cities area that is looking to expand our medication management team. Our team loves to work together for our clients and we are looking to grow the scope of that care.
We are looking for someone who is going to be willing to expand the medication management side of our practice to our Southlake location.
- Provide direct patient care in a private practice setting, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health conditions
- Administer medications and monitor their effectiveness and side effects
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Conduct therapeutic interventions and provide counseling to patients and their families
- Monitor patients for changes in behavior or symptoms and report any concerns to the healthcare team
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Follow infection control protocols to ensure a safe and sterile environment
- Valid nursing license and certification as a Psychiatric Nurse
- Experience working in a psychiatric or mental health setting preferred
- Knowledge of psychiatric medications and their administration
- Proficient in patient assessment and developing care plans
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Familiarity with pediatric psychiatric care is a plus
- Knowledge of sterile processing techniques is an asset
