This position provides psychiatric services in an inpatient hospital setting for an adult population in collaboration with other healthcare professionals. Evanston is a small Rocky Mountain community that is a 45-minute drive from Park City, Utah's world-famous ski slopes. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: The listed functions are illustrative only and are not intended to describe every function which may be performed in the job level.
Provide psychiatric assessment, diagnosis and treatment to patients in a hospital setting. Provide ongoing psychiatric assessments and treatment to patients. Participate in a multi-disciplinary treatment team. Perform on-call clinical coverage as needed and directed by the hospital medical director. Maintain all appropriate paperwork required for patient care in a timely manner. Assist in follow-up planning for the discharge of patients. Maintain an active role in updating treatment plans. Participate in committees and perform administrative duties as directed by the medical director. Qualifications
As required by Wyoming State Licensing Board
Must be licensed or eligible for licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse or a Psychiatric/Mental Health Nurse Practitioner by the Wyoming Board of Nursing.
Necessary Special Requirements
Ability to bend, lift, twist, push, pull, etc., as would be expected to provide patient care and treatment in the clinic and
hospital settings.
