JOB TITLE: Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
JOB PURPOSE: Provide psychiatric and mental health
services to clinic patients at UW Family Medicine Clinic located in
Cheyenne, Wyoming.

history, performs a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, and
diagnoses psychiatric disorders. The clinician then develops a
treatment plan for mental health problems and psychiatric disorders
based on biopsychosocial theories, evidence-based standards of
care, and practice guidelines. Psychotropic and related medications
are prescribed based on clinical indicators of a patient's status,
including results of diagnostic and lab tests as appropriate, to
treat symptoms of psychiatric disorders and improve functional
health status.

This position provides vital support to clinic patients and

the UW Family Medicine Clinic located in Cheyenne, Wyoming.
The successful candidate must be eligible to work in the United
States. Sponsorship for H1-B work authorization or work visa is not
available for this position.
