Title: Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
Reports to: Executive Director
Location: Medford, MA
FLSA Status: Non Exempt
Schedule: 15 - 18 hours each week, ideally Monday - Friday from 9:00 - 12:30 but there is flexibility. We are willing to find a mutually beneficial schedule depending on your availability. Hours are expected to increase eventually to a full-time schedule as the program continues to grow.
Role Summary:
The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will provide psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, medication management, and therapeutic support to individuals enrolled in our PHP and IOP programs. You will collaborate with other clinicians, including psychiatrists, therapists, to provide a holistic approach to patient care.
Role Responsibilities:
•Conduct psychiatric evaluations, including intake assessments, for patients in the PHP/IOP programs.
•Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on psychiatric assessment findings.
•Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications, monitoring for effectiveness and side effects.

Required Qualifications:

•Current, unrestricted state licensure as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
•Strong knowledge of mental health diagnoses, psychiatric medications, and treatment modalities.
•Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment.
•Ability to work with diverse populations and demonstrate cultural competence.
•Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
•Compassionate, empathetic, and patient-focused approach to care.
