About the position
Gulfport Behavioral Health System, is a 90-bed psychiatric hospital offering child, adolescent, adult and military service behavioral health programs and treatment services. The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner assists in the process of evaluating patients. Responsible for psychiatric assessments for inpatient or outpatient populations and consults with the physician regarding treatment recommendations and referrals. Opportunities to work with various patient populations including children, adolescents, adults, military, and detox/transition patients. The position is PRN with on-call responsibilities.
