Remote Locum Tenens Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner – California Licensed

Unique 100% REMOTE locum tenens opportunity for a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner seeking maximum flexibility while making a meaningful impact in a rural Northern California community. This outpatient role offers telehealth psychiatric care with limited low-acuity primary care and the freedom to work from anywhere, as long as you hold an active California license.

Position Highlights:

•100% remote telehealth option (hybrid or onsite available if desired)

•Client located in Northwestern California, near Lake Tahoe and Reno

•Flexible schedule starting at 1–2 days per week with ability to grow to full-time

•Ongoing coverage needed – start ASAP

•Outpatient setting only

Clinical Scope:

•Adult psychiatry with some children and adolescents

•Limited low-acuity family medicine

•1-hour initial psychiatric evaluations

•20-minute follow-up visits

Candidate Requirements:

•Active California NP license

•FNP/PMHNP dual certification required

Compensation & Benefits:

•$100/hour W-2

•Malpractice coverage included

•Health, dental, and 401(k) benefits available
