Our outpatient services are expanding, and we’re seeking a supervising psychiatrist to support our psychiatric nurse practitioner (PMHNP) working in the Augusta, GA market.
About the Role
We are looking for a part-time Supervising / Collaborating Psychiatrist to provide clinical oversight and supervision to our PMHNP. The supervising psychiatrist will not be involved in day-to-day patient care, but will review charts, provide clinical guidance, and ensure compliance with state requirements.
Responsibilities
•Serve as the supervising physician for a Georgia-licensed PMHNP delivering outpatient psychiatric care
•Review charts and cases in accordance with Georgia’s supervision requirements
•Be available for consults and case discussion as needed
•Provide mentorship, clinical feedback, and support to ensure high-quality patient care
•Maintain compliance with state and DEA regulations
Requirements
•Board certification in Psychiatry
•Active, unrestricted Georgia medical license
