Responsible for independently providing outpatient psychiatric care for new and established patients, including comprehensive evaluations, follow-up visits, and ongoing medication management. This role also supports our Spravato (esketamine) program by completing consults, initiating treatment, monitoring patients during visits, and clearing patients for discharge based on protocol. This position is critical to ensuring safe, consistent, high-quality psychiatric treatment and a strong patient experience.
•Perform psychiatric evaluations, clinical assessments, and treatment planning.
•Document diagnoses, clinical decision-making, and plan of care clearly in the EMR.
•Provide patient education on diagnoses, medications, side effects, safety, and expectations.
•Ensure appropriate follow-up intervals and continuity of care.
2. Medication Management (Top Priority)
•Manage psychiatric medications for assigned patient panel.
