Monarch NC, a provider of high-quality and trauma-informed care for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, mental illness and substance use disorders, is seeking a dedicated Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our Assertive Community Treatment team in Greensboro, NC.
As a Nurse Practitioner, you will evaluate, diagnose, and prescribe medications for people we support diagnosed with mental disorders under the direction of a qualified health care provider to enhance the quality of life through services that enables them to achieve their personal dreams and goals and be integrated into the community with the greatest possible degree of self-determination and independence. You will review past treatments, evaluations, and other relevant information, in order to develop an appropriate diagnosis and person-centered plans and screens referrals in coordination with the other Assertive Community Treatment Team members. You will also prescribe medication when appropriate under the supervision of a physician or according to established policies and protocols.
