Child & Adolescent PMHNP | Weekends | Inpatient | Onsite Overview:We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our child and adolescent inpatient team in Kansas City, Kansas. This is a weekend-focused role ideal for a provider seeking consistent weekend work within a supportive inpatient environment.Key Responsibilities:Provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and follow-up care for child and adolescent inpatientsCollaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered, trauma-informed careSupervise and coordinate care plans alongside attending psychiatrists and nursing staffEnsure timely and compliant documentation of all clinical servicesInpatient, onsite onlyChildren and adolescentsApproximately 16 patients per dayQualifications:Licensed PMHNP in the state of Kansas (or eligible for licensure)Experience in inpatient psychiatry, particularly with children and adolescents, strongly preferredAbility to manage a consistent weekend caseload independentlyExcellent communication and clinical decision-making skillsWhy Join Us?
