We offer general and specialty treatment programs for males and females in addition to a Special Education program. All programs are staffed by trained clinicians in a multidisciplinary treatment care environment under the direction of the Child Psychiatrist.DetailsPosition Title: Child Adolescent Psychiatric NP (PMHNP)Schedule: Flexible Monday-Friday, day shift with occasional weekends and evening call.On-Site/Tele: On-site in-person presence required 4 days per week minimum.Caseload: Average total patient panel of 30, mostly seen once per week.Call & Weekend Coverage: Split amongst medical staff, typically 8 call shifts per month by phone only.Preferred arrangement: Employed W-2 preferred; 1099 independent contractor arrangements will be considered.Clinical Duties: Complete admission evaluations, regular follow-ups, lead weekly treatment team planning and meetings, and discharge duties for assigned patients.Compensation/BenefitsBase Salary: $170,000-$190,000Additional pay: Productivity bonus earnings potentialMalpractice insurance with tail included.Paid-Time Off: 26 daysRetirement: Matching 401kCME packageMedical, dental, and vision insurance.Negotiable Relocation, Sign-On Bonus, and Education Loan RepaymentEmployee stock purchase planRequired Education, Licensure, & CertificationsEducation: Successful completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner education training program.Certification: Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Certification.Experience: 1+ years prior work experience (excluding clinical or practicum hours) working in a similar setting.Licensure: Current Nevada physician/medical license in good standing, or the ability to obtain required license.Credentialing: Meets all credentialing criteria required by participating physicians.Located in the heart of the Sierras, Reno, Nevada provides a destination where employees can live, work and play.
