Seeking a psychiatrist to join a dedicated team providing care at a 23-hour Crisis Stabilization Unit in Vista, San Diego.
Work with adults in crisis, including those with chronic mental illness, substance use disorders, and neuropsychiatric conditions, screening for appropriate acuity.
Responsibilities include initial, follow-up, discharge services, and supervising a psychiatric nurse practitioner, collaborating with social workers and other providers.
Require clinical experience in Emergency, Consult Liaison, or Inpatient Psychiatry, and ABPN Board Eligibility with active California Medical & DEA licenses.
Shifts are 10 hours, Monday–Friday, in-person, with full-time and part-time options. Benefits include competitive salary ($350k–$370k), full insurance, 401(k), CME funds, PTO, and malpractice coverage.
Must work onsite at Vista CSU.
