Greet and welcome patients and their families to Massachusetts General Hospital and Brigham and Women's Hospital.

Provide exceptional patient care by assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with mental health needs.

Collaborate with other members of the Psychiatry Department to develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients.

Utilize evidence-based practice to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.

Conduct thorough and accurate patient evaluations, including physical and mental health assessments.

Prescribe and monitor medications and treatments, adjusting as needed to ensure patient well-being.

Educate patients and their families about their mental health conditions and provide resources for ongoing support.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including progress notes and treatment plans.

Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and case conferences to discuss patient care and treatment.

Serve as a resource and mentor for other healthcare professionals, including nurses, residents, and medical students.

Stay current with developments in the field of psychiatry and incorporate new techniques and treatments into practice.

Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure the highest standard of care.

Maintain patient confidentiality and privacy.

Foster a positive and compassionate environment for patients and their families.

Continuously assess and improve the quality of care provided to patients.
