Opportunity Details: Inpatient Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner / PMHNPLocation: Austin, TX Austin Oaks Hospital offers a continuum of psychiatric services for adolescents, ages 12-17, and for adults, age 18 and older and an exclusive women s wellness program. Our hospital offers a full continuum of psychiatric services, including:Inpatient programs for adolescents ages 12+ and adults.Specialized services for Women s Wellness and Addiction/DetoxPartial Hospitalization Programs (PHP) & Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP)Position Details:Caseload That Works for You: Manageable average of 15 patients per day, allowing for meaningful patient interactions and work-life balance.Setting and Patients: Inpatient Adult / Women s Specialty or Adolescents; Optional PHP/IOP work available in the afternoons.Consistent Schedule: Monday-Friday daytime hours with minimal weekends and on-call requirements.Arrangement: Employed W-2 or 1099 available.Collaborative Culture: Be part of a multidisciplinary team dedicated to innovative and compassionate mental health care.Requirements:Education: NP degree from an accredited and recognized program required.Certifications: Post graduate PMHNP certificate required.Licensure: Current Texas APRN license in good standing.Credentialing: Meet all credentialing criteria required by participating providers.Required Experience: 3+ years prior PMHNP work experience (clinical rotations and preceptor hours not included).Why Austin, TX?Austin is more than just the Live Music Capital of the World it s a thriving city with a unique blend of vibrant culture, outdoor adventures, and a welcoming community.
