Austin Oaks Hospital in Austin, TX, is seeking a full-time Inpatient Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join their dynamic team. This role involves providing a continuum of psychiatric services to adolescents (ages 12-17) and adults (age 18 and older), including an exclusive women's wellness program. The hospital fosters a supportive environment focused on crisis resolution and personal growth. •Provides a continuum of psychiatric services for adolescents (ages 12-17) and adults (age 18 and older).
•Offers specialized services for Women's Wellness and Addiction/Detox, including Inpatient, Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP), and Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP).
•Manageable average caseload of 15 patients per day.
•Setting includes Inpatient Adult / Women's Specialty or Adolescents.
•Optional PHP/IOP work available in the afternoons.
•Part of a multidisciplinary team dedicated to innovative and compassionate mental health care.
Compensation
•Employed W-2 or 1099 arrangement available.
Shift & Schedule
•Monday-Friday daytime hours.
•Minimal weekends and on-call requirements.
Requirements
•NP degree from an accredited and recognized program required.
•Post graduate PMHNP certificate required.
•Current Texas APRN license in good standing.
•Meet all credentialing criteria required by participating providers.
•3+ years prior PMHNP work experience (clinical rotations and preceptor hours not included).
