Contract Length: 5 days (vacation coverage)

Shift Details: 5x8

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8a-5p with 1 hour unpaid lunch

Work Details:

•Support staff: Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

•Amount of coverage needed per month: just 5 days for vacation coverage

•Patients per day: census can go up to 20 which is shared with a Psych NP. Up to 10 admissions per week and 10 discharges per week, average length of stay is 5-7 days

•Patient population/age: adult only

•Department description: Behavioral Health

•EMR: Mon Valley has Meditech (compatible with dictation)

•Hospital bed size: 20 adult beds in psych unit

•Special procedures: NA

•Skills required: initial psychiatric evals, daily rounding, with possible psych evals on medical floor, detox unit, and ED as needed.

Requirements:

•Board Certification: Required

•State license required: would consider IMLC

•DEA: Yes

•CSR: No

•Certifications preferred:

•Certifications required: BLS

•Minimum experience required: 1-2 years preferred

Credentialing Timeframe: 60-90 days but do grant temp privs

Specific travel that will be paid for: airfare, rental car, lodging
