As a Lead Mental Health Clinician at Covenant Family Solutions, you will oversee a dedicated team of Nurse Practitioners, Nursing Assistants, Licensed Mental Healthcare Providers, and Administrative Assistants while managing your own client caseload. Your primary aim will be to ensure that our clients receive the highest quality of care. Please note, this position does not involve supervising temporary licensed therapists.
Key Responsibilities:
•Embody and promote CFS Core Values within the clinic.
•Collaborate with the Regional Clinic Director/Clinic Director to prepare the weekly Clinic Meeting Agenda.
•Facilitate and lead weekly clinic meetings, fostering an environment for teamwork and communication.
•Work closely with leadership to review clinic KPIs and quarterly goals to drive performance.
•Conduct audits of client records as necessary, in collaboration with the Clinical Director, to maintain quality care, with annual audits as a minimum.
•Provide clinical case consultations to enhance team performance.
•Partner with the Client Experience Manager to ensure the Administrative Assistants receive adequate training.
•Encourage team connection and build camaraderie among staff.
•Review incident reports with team members and take necessary actions.
•Establish and regularly review emergency protocols for the clinic.
•Ensure compliance with clinic policies and standard operating procedures among team members.
•Implement corrective actions as needed in accordance with the Employee Corrective Action Policy.
•Assist in onboarding new team members by providing training on CFS computer systems and clinic orientation.
•Collaborate with leadership to ensure that clinic budgets are managed effectively.
•Participate in the recruitment process by interviewing prospective candidates.
•Address InSync-related inquiries as they arise.
If you are a Licensed Mental Healthcare Provider, you will also be responsible for:
•Conducting initial intake sessions, recommending appropriate care levels and treatment options.
•Utilizing the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders in assessments.
•Developing tailored treatment plans based on clients' strengths and needs.
•Conducting suicide and self-harm assessments.
•Delivering impactful individual, couple, and family therapy sessions.
•Ensuring accurate and timely documentation in client electronic health records.
•Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to address client needs effectively.
•Adapting treatment activities as necessary for client benefit.
•Facilitating client referrals to community resources or specialists as required.
•Engaging in clinical meetings for team building and discussing policies and cases.
•Staying informed about developments in the counseling field through continuous learning.
•Upholding client confidentiality and privacy.
•Seeking supervision and consultation as needed for improved care.
•Maintaining professional liability coverage throughout employment.
•Meeting all licensing requirements and adhering to ethical guidelines.
•Participating in networking and community engagement initiatives.
•Meeting mandatory reporter training requirements.

If you are a Nurse Practitioner, your additional responsibilities will include:
•Conducting comprehensive psychiatric evaluations of clients.
•Formulating diagnoses and treatment plans based on assessments and client interactions.
•Evaluating clients for suicide or self-harm risks.
•Providing crisis intervention and management during psychiatric emergencies.
•Coordinating with emergency services to ensure client safety.
•Prescribing and monitoring psychiatric medications, including managing side effects.
•Educating clients on medication compliance and potential risks.
•Administering evidence-based therapeutic interventions when appropriate.
•Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate comprehensive client care.
•Providing client education on mental health, medication management, and wellness strategies.
•Utilizing CFS’s Electronic Health Record system for prescribing and documentation.
•Completing insurance prior authorization paperwork.
•Placing lab orders as necessary.
•Filling out external paperwork for client care (e.g., FMLA, referrals, disability).
•Participating in networking and community initiatives.
•Seeking supervision and case consultation when needed.
•Addressing client inquiries or concerns regarding their treatment.
•Maintaining up-to-date medical records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
•Submitting billing and coding information accurately and on time.
•Staying current with the latest in psychiatric care practices and treatments.

•Maintaining professional liability coverage throughout employment.
•Performing other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

Education Requirements:
•A master’s degree and an active mental health counseling or social work license in your state OR
•A Master's or Doctoral degree in Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing with current Nurse Practitioner licensure and PMHNP-BC certification.
Experience Requirements:
•A minimum of three years of experience delivering mental health services.
•At least two years of leadership experience.
