Provide specialized care to women with mental health challenges during pregnancy and postpartum.
Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and mental health to determine appropriate treatment plans.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
Monitor and manage patients' medication regimens, as needed.
Offer counseling and support to patients and their families regarding mental health and pregnancy-related concerns.
Educate patients and their families about mental health resources and support services available.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and document all interactions in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Stay current with industry developments and research related to perinatal psychiatry.
Participate in team meetings, trainings, and professional development opportunities.
Serve as an advocate for patients and their families, ensuring their needs are met and their voices are heard.
Uphold the highest standards of patient care, safety, and professionalism.
Demonstrate compassion, empathy, and sensitivity towards patients and their families.
Identify and report any potential safety hazards or concerns to appropriate personnel.
Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and protocols.
Maintain a positive and collaborative working relationship with colleagues and other healthcare professionals.
