Talantage is currently seeking a Part-Time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team at our client's state correctional facility. Please Note: this position requires a minimum of 18 months' prior experience as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.

The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner provides mental health/psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for patients under the clinical direction of a psychiatrist and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team in providing mental health services to patients in a correctional setting. The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will be required to participate in the call rotation for their region.

Qualifications

•Active Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Maryland

•Must have and maintain an active, non-restricted Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration certificate

•Must be able to pass background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable

•Minimum of eighteen (18) months' experience as a PMHNP in a clinical setting

Available Shift

•Saturday/Sunday

•4:00 pm - 12:30 am
